CeCe
Meet Little CeCe – Your Future Cuddle Companion!
Looking for a sweet, loyal, and loving little sidekick? Meet CeCe, a 2-year-old Cheweenie mix (Chihuahua/Dachshund) who’s ready to find her forever family! Weighing in at 14 lbs., CeCe recently retired from motherhood and is now focused on reclaiming her girlish figure with the help of her foster family’s love, exercise, and healthy meals.
CeCe is a gentle soul with a calm, mellow personality. In fact, her foster has yet to hear her bark! She gets along great with other small dogs, tolerates cats, and is quietly working on her leash skills. While she’s still learning the ropes of playtime—something she missed out on as a puppy—CeCe is making progress every day.
One of CeCe’s greatest talents? Cuddling. Her favorite place to be is snuggled up next to her person, soaking in all the love and attention. She adores being involved in whatever her human is doing, whether it’s relaxing on the couch, running errands, or going for a ride (which she handles like a pro!).
CeCe would thrive in a home where she’s truly part of the family—included in daily life, adventures, and of course, plenty of cuddle sessions. With patience, love, and encouragement, she’ll continue blossoming into the happy, playful pup she was meant to be.
Could you be the forever family CeCe’s been waiting for?
Your Next Steps
Adoption Process
1. Complete an Adoption Application form.
2. Applicants are screened and reviewed together with the dog’s foster. If your application is selected, you will receive an invitation to meet with CHEW by video or phone call. If all looks like you are a good match for the dog, next comes the Meet & Greet.
3. Bring anyone who will live with the dog to the Meet & Greet, including any other dogs in the household. Typically, these meetings are held in a public park or pet store in Gig Harbor, WA.
4. CHEW’s adoption coordinator will conduct reference checks. CHEW will also conduct a home safety check.
5. If approved, you’ll meet again to sign the adoption paperwork, pay any fees, and take home your new furry friend!
Adoption Fees
Most of the dogs have been spayed or neutered (unless under the age of 6 months), vaccinated, checked for other health issues and microchipped. Adoption fee is $500.
